It was when the Britishers were having dominion over the Indians, and very often any Indians moved around in a train, that a Namboodari (a pandit), in Kerala, travelled to his sister's home for a vacation. Namboodari took a ticket and got a seat next to a window. Few minutes later a Britisher came and sat opposite to him. Namboodari thought that it was compulsory for a britisher to travel along with an Indian and this foreigner was his watcher. The train started to move and as minutes passed by the Namboodari was reaching his destination. On the way the Namboodari was wanting to spit and he spat outside. This happened when they just came across an over bridge between Ottapalam and Palaghat. Because of the wind against the Namboodari the fluid fell on the foreigner's face. As soon as it happened the foreigner slapped on the Namboodari's face and Namboodari took it for granted and thought that it was usual custom to take a slap for every Indian by the foreigner next to him, while it was fault. Namboodari reached home safely and his sister asked him, 'How was the trip?', because it was Namboodari's first train experience. He replied,'the journey was absolutely fantabulous, but... the slap on the bridge between Ottapalam and Palaghat by the foreigner was terrible.
Take worries as casual.
