A man went into a club leading a snake on a string. The barman took a poor view of this, and fetched the secretary, who said: 'Hey, is that snake poisonous?' 'Yes.' 'then what happens if he bites one of the members?' 'Oh that's no trouble, he just gets a friend to suck the wound.' 'Suppose he gets bitten on his backside?' 'That's when he finds out who his friends are!'
